Key Focus: Policy development, legislative review, and ministerial support.

Are you passionate about Strategy, Policy, Legislation, Ministerials, and Briefings? We currently have several contract opportunities for experienced senior Policy Officers and Cabinet & Parliamentary Support Officers with a government background, excellent writing skills, and sound policy, briefing, and ministerial support expertise. If this describes you, please read on.
Responsibilities
Updating existing policies and reviewing them against current and new legislation.
Developing and writing new policies.
Leading research and analysis to inform policy papers and consultation materials.
Managing the preparation of internal and ministerial briefings, reports, and policy discussion papers.
Preparing parliamentary briefings and cabinet submissions.
Providing general administration and project support duties.
Ideal Candidate
Experience with policy development and legislation within government.
Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and remotely.
Strong research and analytical skills for sound judgment and advice on complex issues.
Extensive stakeholder engagement experience and ability to advise the executive and ministers on complex matters.
Government experience and/or legal background highly desirable.
