CPA are seeking a highly experienced & resilient Disability Support professional to join the high-performing team at one of our key SIL houses in Wyong.
This is an in-home based support role where you'll have the opportunity to directly engage with clients and help to build independence through working towards individual goals.
You will be supporting clients with behaviours of concern and complex disabilities. As such we are looking for candidates with proven experience in the industry, and who have worked with challenging behaviours.
This a permanent part-time opportunity, with up to 32 hours per week on offer.
Your Duties Will Include
* Delivering personalised support by assisting clients with personal care, administrating medication, manual handling.
* Supporting clients to make their own choices and build skills to be more independent.
* Building positive relationships with our clients.
* Transporting clients in your own car.
Requirements
* Professional Behaviour/Disability Support experience
* Experience working with behaviours of concern and high needs clients
* Someone who embodies CPA values, is client-focused in their approach to care, and driven by the opportunity to make an impact in the lives of people with disabilities.
* Availability across a variety of shift times, including:
o Early mornings (6am - 9am)
o Day shifts (9am - 3/4pm)
o Afternoons & evenings (12pm onwards)
o Awake overnights (10pm-6am)
* A current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 minimum)
