EMDR Academy is looking for a motivated Marketing & Media Assistant to help support our growing digital presence. This role is ideal for a final-year marketing/media student or recent graduate wanting hands-on experience across social media, website updates, email campaigns, and online learning platforms — all within an ethical, supportive, and mission-driven organisation.
You'll play an important role in keeping our online platforms current, accurate, engaging, and aligned with our values. You'll work independently day-to-day, while collaborating closely with a small team. There is strong scope for the position to grow into broader marketing and media responsibilities over time.

Key Responsibilities
Content & Social Media
* Create fresh, engaging content for Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
* Produce posts, reels/videos, basic graphics and multimedia
* Suggest content ideas aligned with our training calendar and campaigns
* Maintain a consistent brand voice across platforms
* Support promotional content for the EMDR Academy Podcast
Website (WordPress)
* Update workshops, training programs and announcements
* Maintain pages using SEO-aware, user-friendly content
* Ensure high presentation standards and accuracy
* Liaise with our web developer as needed
Email Marketing & Campaign Support
* Assist with email marketing and campaign scheduling (e.g., course intakes, events)
* Support cross-platform promotion across email, web and social media
* Work with tools such as Klaviyo
Online Learning Systems & Digital Resources
* Upload and organise video content (e.g., Kajabi)
* Update course materials within our Learning Management System (LMS)
* Support a smooth and professional experience for online learners
* Assist with formatting, layout and updates to digital resources

About You
Essential
* Strong WordPress skills
* Development-level WordPress skills including theme customisation and advanced functionality
* Proficiency with digital platforms (Microsoft Suite, Google Workspace, Vimeo, Zoom, Klaviyo, Kajabi)
* Ability to create content for major social channels
* Strong communication and attention to detail
* Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities
Desirable
- Australian work authorisation is required for this position
* Experience with an LMS or online learning platforms
* Experience in training, higher education, events, health or mental health settings
