This position will be located at Robertson Barracks and will support qualified tradespeople on construction, maintenance, and industrial sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist tradespeople with measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing materials.
• Prepare and clean work areas, ensuring tools and equipment are ready for use.
• Perform general maintenance tasks including patching, painting, tiling, and minor plumbing work.
• Load, transport, and organise materials and supplies on site.
• Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.
• Perform general labouring duties such as lifting, digging, and site clean‐up.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

About You

• Previous experience in a construction, maintenance, or industrial environment.
• Hands‐on exposure to assisting qualified trades such as carpenters, electricians, plumbers, landscapers, or a qualified carpenter.
• Familiarity with using basic hand and power tools.
• Experience performing manual labour tasks such as lifting, digging, or site clean‐up.
• Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and work safely on active job sites.
• Experience working as part of a team in quick‐paced or physically demanding settings.
• White Card.
• Australian Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
