Key Responsibilities
* Drive a positive, person-centred culture across the facility.
* Ensure high standards of clinical care, resident safety, and regulatory compliance.
* Oversee financial performance, budgeting, occupancy, workforce planning, and resource management.
* Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and the broader community.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance resident experience and operational efficiency.
* Manage risk, quality assurance, and adherence to the Aged Care Quality Standards.
* Support and mentor department leaders to achieve service excellence.
* Represent the facility professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
About You
You are an experienced and confident leader with a strong understanding of aged care operations. You thrive on building high-performing teams, navigating complex environments, and driving positive change.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Proven leadership experience in residential aged care or a comparable health, community, or regulated environment.
* Strong understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards, compliance requirements, and best practice care.
* Demonstrated experience managing operational performance, financials, budgets, and workforce planning.
* Excellent communication, relationship-building, and conflict resolution skills.
* Ability to lead and inspire teams through collaboration, clarity, and accountability.
