Are you a Cabinet Maker, Joiner or Shop Fitter looking to move off the tools and into an office-based support role? We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Interpret architectural drawings to prepare accurate shop drawings & take-offs
* Customize designs to meet client specifications and adjust layouts based on feedback
* Liaise with team leaders to ensure all designs comply with industry standards and project specifications
* Deliver drawings, cutting lists, and materials in line with project timelines and production schedules
* Quantify materials and hardware ready for purchasing, prior to manufacture
* Provide technical support to production teams during the manufacturing process
* Maintain and update design files and project documentation
Key Requirements:
* 4 years or more in Cabinetmaking, Joinery or Shop Fitting
* Trade qualification or relevant experience in Cabinet Making/Joinery
* Excellent understanding of cabinetry construction
* Preferred experience in Joinery drafting, Palette CAD & Cobus Ncad or similar, but not essential
* Sound ability to be able to interpret construction drawings and specifications
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously
* Competent with Microsoft Office applications, mainly Outlook & Excel
