Hourly rate range: $27.35 to $34.78 (plus Super plus NFP Salary Packaging)

genU is looking for Casual Support workers who can team up with our clients to help them unleash their full potential. You will be making a real impact by helping people with disabilities through accommodation and community engagement.
Suitable candidates may also be added to the talent pool and contacted directly for future vacancies.
What you'll do
* Support person-centred plans that identify a customer's life goals and working to achieve them;
* Join customers in the community and do recreational activities;
* Support customers in daily living skills such as meal preparation, housekeeping, showering and toileting, medication administration and attending appointments;
* Ensure positive behaviour support plans are followed; and
* Administration duties and mandatory reporting
What you'll bring
* Well developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships;
* Ability to follow Person Centred plans and assist people to achieve their goals and outcomes;
* An understanding and enthusiasm for working alongside people with disabilities;
* A valid drivers licence and willingness to use your private vehicle (aligned with genU motor vehicle allowance rebate).
Bonus points for
* Certificate III in disability or individual support or higher
