Senior Test Engineer

About the Role
As a Senior Test Engineer, you will drive the testing, validation, and release of complex systems that integrate software, robotics, control systems, and specialised hardware. You will work 100% onsite, Monday–Friday, hands‐on with highly specialised equipment in a collaborative, engineering‐focused environment.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
* Execute manual and automated tests across integrated software/hardware systems.
* Improve and manage automated CI/CD testing environments.
* Establish and manage test cells for end‐to‐end functional testing.
* Analyse system specifications and prepare high‐quality test documentation.
* Identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate closely with engineering teams.
* Ensure release quality for mission‐critical manufacturing platforms.
You'll bring
* Proven experience as a Test Engineer in commercial development processes in software and/or systems engineering.
* Strong understanding of test methodologies and structured test frameworks.
* Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
* Ability to turn technical requirements into clear, meaningful test cases.
* Excellent problem‐solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
* Experience with CI/CD, automation, robotics or mechatronics (highly regarded).
* Experience with welding, industrial automation or manufacturing systems (bonus).
