We are now seeking a dedicated Procurement Specialist to support our expanding operations and ensure excellence across our supply chain. Key Responsibilities: Source, evaluate and manage suppliers for food ingredients, beverages, packaging, and operational supplies. Negotiate pricing, terms and delivery schedules to ensure cost efficiency and consistent supply. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement to avoid shortages or overstock. Maintain accurate purchasing records, invoices, and supplier documentation. Work closely with the kitchen, operations, and management teams to forecast needs and align purchasing plans. Assist in quality control and ensure all purchased items meet IL Lago’s standards. Track market trends, ingredient availability, and cost fluctuations, proposing strategies to optimise spending. Requirements: Bachelor degree or higher qualification in economics, management or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or a related field. Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills. Ability to analyse cost data, compare quotations, and make sound purchasing decisions. Proficiency in basic purchasing systems, spreadsheets, and inventory tools. A proactive team player with strong problem-solving skills Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.
