Inclusion Support Specialist - Case Manager
The Inclusion Support Specialist role exists to provide a variety of services to school staff, students and community members to enhance learning, social and emotional outcomes within the vision for inclusion at the school. This student, staff and family interfacing role provides direct tier 2 and 3 support, including case management, program development, advocacy and advice. The Inclusion Support Specialist role will advocate for all children and ensure that all inclusion work has Yipirinya culture, languages and children at its core.
As the Case manager you will:-
Promote a culture of inclusion and high expectations for the learning of all students.
Provide case management services
Design, deliver and evaluate tier 2 and 3 services and programs within the Happy Heart hub to support the safety, wellbeing and inclusion needs of children using data to inform planning, programming, and reporting
Offer a sense of security, encouragement, care and belonging.
Support and guide children's behavior in positive ways.
Build and nurture positive relationships between students, staff, parents, carers and stakeholders and community.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant profession such as Social Work or
A qualification in a relevant field such as youth work with 3+ years of relevant experience
Current working with children check and police clearance or ability to obtain
Experience in case management
Experience designing, leading and implementing the delivery of programs
High level collaboration skills and ability to foster relationships between teams towards common goals
Demonstrated outstanding written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
Experience developing relationships with children, families and wider communities
Desire to learn about local culture and languages
