About the role:
Our Little National Hotels are all about the little details making a big impact on our guest experiences. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be responsible for creating little moments for guests that will keep them coming back for more. We are seeking a warm and welcoming personality, a passion and the ability to create surprising and memorable experiences and share great local knowledge of Newcastle to assist our guests. As part of the team, you will Check-in/check-out hotel guests courteously and efficiently; process all payments according to established hotel requirements and provide information and assistance to our guests and visitor.

Naturally, your previous years within a luxury hospitality setting, will come highly regarded. As will the following:
* Ability to manage time, with attention to detail; prioritise/organise and follow-up, with speed and accuracy
* Minimum two years' experience as a receptionist or in a supervisory role within a luxury hospitality setting
* A clear thinker with solid judgement, who remains calm when resolving problems, (should they arise) as you really listen and understand guest's service needs
* A true Team player who works cohesively with co-workers and under minimal supervision that maintains the confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data
* Excellent personal presentation and presence with the willingness and ability to exceed expectations
* Ability to work rotating shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
* Understanding of IT applications: Opera PMS, Micros and Microsoft
