About The Role
Join National Tiles as a Trade Manager based at our Alexandria store, where you will play a key leadership role in driving sales, coaching the team and ensuring operational excellence across trade and back-of-house functions.
This is a full-time position offering 40 hours per week with a flexible roster.
Salary: $75- 85k (based on experience) + Super!Company car provided
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the trade team to achieve sales, margin and growth targets
* Lead by example to foster a customer-obsessed culture and deliver meaningful store experiences that reflects the highest industry standards
* Support the store manager by providing store-wide leadership support, fostering accountability, inclusion and continuous improvement
* Drive performance across key business metrics and grow the Trade+ customer base
* Oversee efficient, safe operations across sales, warehouse and logistics
* Ensure compliance in merchandising, banking, POS, credit, transport and warehousing
* Champion a strong safety culture by modelling safe behaviours, overseeing forklift use and reporting hazards promptly
About You
* A proven leader with the ability to influence and experience meeting targets and KPIs
* Results-driven, commercially astute and motivated about achieving business goals
* Strong communicator who leads by example and builds high-performance cultures
* Quick to adapt, multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Safety-focused with knowledge of OHS standards, manual handling and heavy equipment compliance
* Physically capable of handling heavy items (in excess of 25kg) with safe lifting techniques
* Hold a forklift licence or willing to obtain one
