**_ The Role_**
The Clinical Nursing Unit Manager position provides leadership and manages the delivery of healthcare services for patients. This role is a critical component of nursing administration, bearing responsibility for clinical leadership, advice and coordination of the healthcare centres daily operations. The role also involves overseeing service delivery including patient flow and clinics, coordinating and monitoring service provision, and implementing and assessing service planning and policy development activities. Successful performance in this role requires effective collaboration with other managers and service directors within the Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (Justice Health NSW), as well as with staff from Corrective Services New South Wales (CSNSW).
