Overview
Join to apply for the Electrician role at Nestlé in Wahgunyah, VIC. This shift role supports electrical and automation systems at the Uncle Toby's brand factory, ensuring optimum manufacturing efficiencies with minimal downtime.
Responsibilities
* Provide a high level of service & technical fault finding to the plant, ensuring all systems meet production needs.
* Implement and enact preventative maintenance activities across Electrical & Automation to support the engineering objectives of the site.
* Minimise plant unplanned stoppages by implementing solutions & improvements to prevent technical failures from recurring.
* Provide operational support for Electrical & Automation infrastructure to ensure reliability of plant & equipment, supporting factory automation networks.
* Assist in evaluating new technology to identify opportunities for maximising factory performance & assist with small to medium electrical & automation projects.
* Complete & submit Certificates of Electrical Safety as required by Energy Safe Victoria.
* Comply with Nestlé, Site & Government regulations, codes of practice & accepted standards of safety, arranging & completing Permit to Works, JSA's & other permits for required work.
* Ensure a safe working environment & that all work conducted complies with relevant regulations & codes of practice.
Qualifications
* Qualified Electrician (Victorian A Grade Licence).
* Advanced PLC fault diagnostics experience with Rockwell / Siemens PLCs (Rockwell Control Logix preferred).
* Experience in an electrical automation role within a manufacturing environment.
* Experience maintaining industrial IT networks.
* Developed computer literacy skills, including Microsoft Office, SAP & DOS based applications.
* Significant studies or training demonstrating ongoing professional development (Instrumentation, Type B Gas, etc).
* Willingness to work in shifts.
* Proactive, self‑motivated and able to work effectively within a collaborative team.
