We are looking for an agriculturally-minded marketing professional with a mix of creative, analytical and leadership skills to help deliver our national marketing strategy.
Rural communities are the heartbeat of our business. As the Marketing Coordinator, you will spend time in our regional stores bringing to life brand activations, grower events and showcasing content about wool from shearing sheds to the showfloor.
Position Summary Quality Wool carries out the business of wool buying and brokering for and on behalf of growers throughout Australia. As Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing marketing support to the broader group, clients and other key stakeholders.
This position is located at Head Office, on Greenhill Road in Unley, however regionally based and interstate applicants are encouraged to apply. Regular regional travel is part of this role during peak periods.
To be successful in this role you will have excellent communication skills, great attention to detail and a high degree of professionalism. You will live and breathe Australian wool, and exceptional branding and innovative marketing campaigns will excite you.
Guided by a close-knit team of professionals, you will be exposed to all facets of the wool supply chain, from attending shearing sheds with sales representatives, capturing content at Melbourne wool sales to assisting with collaborations between brands and industry partners.
Responsibilities Executing the marketing strategy and coordinating all activations and events alongside the internal marketing team Uploading and managing online website content Briefing and liaising with external partners across graphic design, public relations and advertising Supporting the Quality Schemes and Programs team with the development of promotional materials Assisting with stock management and orders of shed stationery and merchandise Managing the e-commerce platform for merchandise sales including the fulfilment of online orders and sales at events and field days Assisting the Ram Sale Coordinator during ram selling season, including attendance and digital coverage of all ram sales Perform any other duties as reasonably directed by the General Manager of Operations and Marketing. Skills, Qualities and Technical Knowledge Technical wool experience is advantageous, but not essential.
Completed tertiary studies in Marketing, Communications and/or Agricultural Science.
This is a mid-level role, suited to an individual with 2+ years' experience in a similar role.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, ability to work proactively, meet deadlines and effectively manage competing priorities.
Ability to learn and adapt in an evolving environment.
High level of interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
