The Position We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to lead and manage the Western Australian commercial and contracts function for RSGx based in Perth. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving commercial performance, ensuring contractual compliance, and overseeing project delivery across multiple high-value electrical infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the Commercial function for the WA business unit, ensuring operational excellence and profitability.
* Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with company objectives.
* Manage all contractual and financial aspects of projects, including risk assessment and mitigation.
* Support tendering, bid preparation, and lead negotiation of major contracts.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
* Provide leadership and mentoring to project and commercial teams.
* Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and industry standards.
* Monitor project performance, budgets, and forecasts to achieve financial targets.
About You
* Proven experience in a senior commercial or contract management role within electrical construction or related industries.
* Strong knowledge of contract law, risk management, and commercial frameworks.
* Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
* Degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, Business, Commerce, Engineering, or related discipline (desirable).
