Project Manager – Construction Division
Hindmarsh Plumbing was established in 1973 as a part of the Sarah Group, with the purpose of delivering superior commercial plumbing services across South Australia and Western Australia. We are experts in commercial and industrial construction, maintenance plumbing and water treatment. We strive to provide a value-add service to our clients, to the highest level of quality whilst not compromising on the safety of our people.
We are currently seeking a dedicated Project Manager to provide direction to and oversee projects from tender stage to handover and throughout the duration of the defects liability period (DLP).
What your day-to-day could look like
As a member of the Hindmarsh Plumbing (SA) construction team and reporting to the Construction Manager, key responsibilities of the Project Manager will include;
· Oversee daily operations - ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard, while resolving operational issues as they arise.
· Engage with clientsto maintain strong relationships, manage design and productivity expectations, and identify opportunities for additional opportunities.
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including quoting, tendering, and estimating.
· Manage and support the Construction team, including scheduling labour, performance management, recruitment, and training to ensure high morale, capability, and productivity. Manage and coordinate design meetings.
· Monitor financial and operational performance, submission of invoices, progress claims, manage variations, quotes and material orders

What we are looking for?

You will possess the following experience, skills and qualifications:
· A current South Australian Plumbers and Gas Fitters License;
· Current Class C Driver's License;
· Experience in leading, mentoring and coaching teams to achieve ongoing success;
· Previous experience with managing multiple projects
· Knowledge and understanding of quality assurance processes as they relate to project management, hydraulic and mechanical plumbing;
· Knowledge and thorough understanding of the AS3500: National Plumbing Code, AS5601: Gas Installations and Plumbers, Gasfitters and Electricians Act 1995; and
· Ability to travel intrastate from time to time.
