You will be joining a high-performing Legal team, reporting to one of the most experienced and respected leadership teams in the industry.
We are client centric; we are innovative, we celebrate success.
The Role and Opportunity:
We’re on the lookout for an absolute superstar paralegal, someone who loves being the glue that keeps a busy legal team running smoothly, enjoys supporting a vibrant group of senior lawyers, and is excited to jump straight into helping our amazing clients…always with a big smile.
If you’re an organised self‑starter with great communication and research skills, and the idea of joining a passionate team with plenty of room to grow gets you energised, we’d love to chat.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Working closely with clients and external parties to keep communication flowing, gather the right information, and help matters progress on time.
* Drafting a range of commercial documents including template contracts, deeds, agreements, and corporate filings.
* Supporting our lawyers across transactions and deals, helping move matters forward proactively from start to finish.
* Preparing estate planning documents such as wills, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and binding death benefit nominations.
* Assisting with trust and estate administration, including probate.
* Keeping up to date with changes in commercial and estate planning laws.
* Opening files and onboarding clients in line with AML/CTF requirements.
* Helping out with billing and general operational tasks where needed.
* Organising and managing:
o PEXA lodgements and settlements
o Transfer duty self‑assessments and stamping
o Preparation and lodgement of Title Office forms
o The team’s Monday.com boards (workflow + client comms)
About you:
We would love to hear from you if you have:
* You’re willing to put in the hard yards and learn from the best.
* You’ve got at least 2 years’ proven paralegal experience (bonus points if it’s in Corporate & Commercial Law or Estate Planning).
* You’re tech‑savvy — experience with Microsoft Office, Monday.com, Actionstep or NetDocs is great, but being eager to learn is even better. We’re early tech adopters and love people who can spot efficiencies.
* You’re organised and comfortable managing legal files and systems (experience with PEXA, ASIC Connect and SRO software is a big plus).
* Corporate & Commercial Law is your thing — you understand commercial transactions, governance, and contract law.
* Superhero Communication: Excellent proactive written and verbal communication skills, including competency to liaise with clients/external parties directly on some issues, while having fun at work.
* You’ve had exposure to estate planning documents and have excellent attention to detail.
* You can work independently, juggle multiple deadlines, and take direction from several senior team members (we’re not big on micromanaging).
* You’re client‑focused and have experience supporting in client meetings.
* You’ve had some exposure to tax-related elements of commercial law and estate planning.
