Bookkeeper Job Description
The role involves managing the day-to-day bookkeeping requirements of small to medium-sized business clients. This includes tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a bookkeeping or accounting firm environment, with strong working knowledge of software systems such as Xero, MYOB, QBO, and DEXT.
In this client-facing role, you will work closely with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored support to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage client bookkeeping requirements, including AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
* Provide expert advice on financial management and compliance.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Requirements:
* Prior experience in a bookkeeping or accounting firm.
* Strong working knowledge of Xero, MYOB, QBO, and DEXT.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
