Banking & Finance Lawyer | 1 to 4 years pae | Focus on Mentorship & Development
Our client is a dynamic, national law firm known for its high quality work, approachability and culture. Due to growth (new clients and new instructions), our client is seeking a motivated lawyer with around 1 to 4 years pae for their high-performing Sydney Banking and Finance team. You will work directly with an award-winning partner. This is a rare chance for a junior practitioner to gain exposure to multi-million dollar deals while receiving structured, one-on-one mentorship from industry leaders.
Key Responsibilities
* Drafting and reviewing loan documentation, mortgages, and security agreements.
* Assisting with the execution of complex secured lending and mortgage transactions.
* Advising a diverse client base, including major lenders and corporate borrowers.
* Managing PEXA settlements and real property security registrations.
* Conducting legal research and ensuring regulatory compliance.
What You Need to Succeed
* Around 1 to 4 years pae in the area of banking & finance law from a well regarded practice.
* PEXA or Conveyancing experience is highly regarded—this role is an excellent pathway for those looking to transition from property into a specialized finance practice.
* Strong attention to detail, proactive attitude, and excellent communication skills.
