A day in the life Machine start up experience or an aptitude to learn machinery Always one-step-ahead of everyone else in the room Reading and communicating plans and using it to measure achievable goals and Key Performance Indicators for the rest of the team Communicating across all levels of the business from managers to senior management or auditors and contractors Our ideal candidate will be Responsible for the safe operation of heavy machinery Common sensical approach to their surroundings and work environment Adaptable to last minute unexpected changes to plans and able to pivot and go with the flow Excellent communicator Able to multi-task and move swiftly without compromising safety A fun person to work with! What We’re Looking For Experience operating VFFS or similar packaging machinery (highly regarded) Background in FMCG or food manufacturing preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment High attention to detail and commitment to quality Physically fit (manual handling up to 10kg) Willingness to work in cold conditions (2–4°C, PPE provided) Flexible to work weekends when required Must be 18 years
