About the Role:
This position is an opportunity to support our Defence Maintenance Contract as a key member of the production team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for undertaking administrative and non-technical tasks to support tradespersons, including ordering and receipting repair parts, work order progressing and closure, and assisting with planning and scheduling of maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administrative Support: Provide support to tradespersons, including maintaining records and coordinating logistical tasks.
* Maintenance Planning: Assist with planning and scheduling of maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
* Spare Parts Management: Manage the ordering and receipting of spare parts, ensuring accurate and efficient distribution.
* Customer Service: Liaise with internal and external equipment owners, responding to job calls and providing updates on progress.
About You:
* Administration Experience: The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in administration functions, including data entry, record keeping and customer service.
* Technical Skills: Competency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential, as well as experience with databases and workshop environments.
* Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail is required, with the ability to accurately complete tasks and maintain high-quality standards.
