**The Role**:
Do you have a passion for French language and culture? Are you an experienced French Teacher looking for your next role?
We are seeking a vibrant and passionate French Teacher to join our Languages team in 2025. This position plays a pivotal role in inspiring students to develop a love for the French language and culture while supporting them to achieve their language goals.
This role is a full time, 12-month opportunity commencing in Term 1, 2025.

**The Average Day**:
- Plan and deliver engaging French language lessons to students.
- Foster an immersive learning environment using innovative teaching strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
- Actively contribute to the Carey community through participation in co-curricular activities, school events, and collaborative department projects.
**The Person**:
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Exceptional skill speaking and writing in fluent French
- Demonstrated experience teaching French, experience teaching Year 11 and 12 French will be highly regarded
- Passion for teaching French language and culture, and the ability to inspire students.
- Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
- Brings creativity, innovation, and adaptability to their teaching approach.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
A valid Victorian Institute Teaching (VIT) registration is a requirement of employment in this position.
