Enterprise Sales Engineer Job Description
This role involves collaborating with the sales team to communicate the value proposition, vision, and strategy of our products to customers. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and experience in a sales engineering or devops engineering role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with the sales team to articulate the overall value proposition, vision, and strategy of our products to customers.
* Owning technical engagement with customers during the trial phase, communicating the value based on activities and working with customers on identified issues or concerns to a successful conclusion.
* Closing complex opportunities through advanced competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility.
* Delivering product and technical briefings/presentations to potential clients.
* Maintaining accurate notes and feedback in CRM regarding customer input, both wins and losses.
About You:
* You are passionate about educating customers on risks meaningful to their business and can build and execute an evaluation plan with a customer.
* Someone with strong written and oral communication skills, able to understand and articulate both business benefits and technical advantages of our offering.
* Experienced in programming/scripting with Java, Python, Ruby, Go, Node.JS, PHP, and .NET.
* Minimum 5+ years in a sales engineering or devops engineering role.
