This is an internal EOI opportunity open to DPIRD / LLS staff only. Change impacted staff will be prioritised initially.

- Full Time Temporary role for up to 9 months
- Position Location: This role could be located in any one of our SELLS offices including Wollongong, Goulburn, Yass, Braidwood, Cooma, Bega, Berry or other LLS office locations upon negotiation
- Salary from $113,574 to $125,720 pa PLUS super

Local Land Services (LLS) is an Executive Agency related to the cluster. It provides quality, customer focused services to landholders and the community across New South Wales. This regionally based organisation brings together a wide range of service and advisory functions including agriculture, biosecurity, natural resource management, land management, biodiversity, emergency services, private native forestry and the Soil Conservation Services.

About the role

As the Biosecurity Projects & Programs Officer - Feral Pest Program (Grade 6), you will be working within the South East Biosecurity Team to deliver the South East Feral Pest Program.

Key tasks will include:

- Manage the delivery of the South East Feral Pests Programs and meet program objectives, budget, reporting and performance expectations
- Deliver a range of project management and support services to south east staff, given tight deadlines, limited resources and the need to manage competing priorities
- Deliver timely and accurate advice and support to program team members in the performance of tasks and implementation of plans
- Coordinate working groups, committees and consultations to facilitate exchange of information and support program completion in line with agreed plans
- Coordinate the development of regular program briefs and other documentation for the Regional Pest Coordinator in collaboration with other Biosecurity staff members
- Represent South East on the regular state-wide Feral Pig Program meetings
- Establish and manage document registers and resource libraries related to each expanded Feral Pest Program
- Manage contracts and procurement processes
