We are a leading boutique financial markets firm based in Sydney, promoting term deposits and other debt products to institutional and semi-government clients.
The role is suited for someone with experience from another boutique financial services firm, understanding of Term Deposits and/or Fixed Income products, and broad operational and management experience across client onboarding, AML, client services, coupled with project management/coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive efficiencies within the business and support planned growth initiatives.
* Focus on general management and support, project management/coordination, and office and business administration.
* Ensure operational interactions with banking and fixed income partners, system suppliers, and vendors operate smoothly.
* Implement processes to enhance sales efficiency.
* Coordinate project management, including marketing efforts.
* Assist in creating and documenting strategy papers and roadmaps.
Requirements:
* Degree-qualified or significant industry experience.
* Finance industry/banking/financial markets experience (Term deposits or fixed income).
* In-depth understanding of AML/CTF requirements.
* Project management and coordination experience.
* Team management experience.
* Multitasking and adaptability.
* Embracing new technology, including AI, to improve productivity.
* Highly organized and willing to learn about all elements of a growing business.
* Can-do attitude and team player.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
This is a broad role supporting the CEO and will play a leadership role in supporting all aspects of the business.
