ConsultANZ is seeking a skilled and driven Project Engineer for a major infrastructure project in Brisbane, focusing on roads, highways, asphalt, and pavements. This role will involve managing construction delivery, overseeing subcontractors, ensuring HSE compliance, and providing technical expertise to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage the construction delivery of your section, including subcontractors and self-delivered work. Oversee the preparation and review of subcontractor valuations and manage accordingly. Ensure all site activities comply with HSE legislation and operational safety standards. Plan, schedule, and budget for your section of work, ensuring projects are completed within time and cost constraints. Provide regular progress and cost reports for your section of work. Manage and mentor junior engineers, ensuring high-quality work and timely delivery. Ensure quality assurance standards are met in all construction activities. Provide technical advice and guidance on-site to ensure smooth project delivery. REQUIREMENTS: Degree in Engineering (Civil preferred). 5 years of work experience in roads, highways, asphalt, and pavement projects. Proven track record of maintaining compliance with safety standards and regulations. Strong understanding of technical specifications and construction processes. Ambitious and driven to progress to a management position. BENEFITS: Competitive salary package: $110k - $130k super (based on experience).
