Aspect Personnel are working with a council in Melbourne's North to recruit an experienced Civil Design Engineer. You will be responsible for the design of a variety of civil infrastructure projects including roads, drainage, footpaths and bridges. Employed as a Civil Design Engineer, you will be responsible for: Coordination, planning design of road & drainage projects Engineering investigations Site Survey Civil Design Assessing and approving development plans Writing reports & project briefs Some project & contract management Liaison with various key stakeholders. As the ideal candidate you will have: A degree in Civil Engineering, or relevant qualifications/experience Proficiency with Civil Site Design and Civil3D Experience coordinating and managing the planning, design of Capital / Civil Works Experience delivering civil infrastructure project for or within local government Excellent written and verbal communication skills and negotiation skills Ability to work autonomously and solve complex engineering/ technical problems This is a great opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team environment.
