We are looking for a results-oriented Accounts Receivable Officer where the primary objective is to reduce outstanding debt, maintain a high level of customer service and encourage adherence to Grace credit policy. Your proven, strong communication, proactivity and time management skills will ensure you build strong working relationships with internal and external customers.
**About the Role**
An opportunity now exists for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance team based at our head office in Seven Hills.
Reporting to the National Credit Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient and timely processing and receipting of customer payments, debt collection, coding and allocation of debtor remittances account reconciliation as well as liaising with our branches.
The opportunity would also suit a graduate or someone looking to start their career in Finance or Accounts Receivable.
The duties will include:
- reducing outstanding debt and debt collection
- accounts receivable computer maintenance and ensuring that outstanding amounts are collected within required timeframes and accounts reconciliation
- Coding and allocation of debtor remittances
- Customer receipt processing and refunds as required
- Ensuring debtor accounts are collected in a timely manned Perform other tasks as directed by the Supervisor or National Credit Manager

- ability to ensure timely recovery of outstanding debtors whilst maintaining a quality service to internal and external customers
- fast learner and ab ility to work in a fast-paced environment excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
