Job Description
We require 50 labourers for timber industry work in the Warrane region, TAS. The work includes packaging and stacking timber. Work will commence in June 2026 and will continue for 9 months.
Successful candidates will be offered employment on a full time basis and paid by the relevant hourly award rate, depending on the work performed (pay rates are based on the Timbur Industry Award [MA000071]) with a starting rate of Level 1 $24.28. Workers must have the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, and be available 6-7 days a week if required. Regular weekend work may also be required including Sundays.
General hours of work are between 7am and 5pm. Workers must be available for early morning starts. Applicants must be hardworking and physically fit as you will be required to perform tasks that involve bending and lifting.
Workers must be able to pass a medical/drug test. This job has opportunities for upskilling and training. Candidates MUST have work rights in Australia.
