Zak Australia and Hot Topic Australia are market leading suppliers to Australia's largest national retailers. The role of Finished Artist will be to work with iconic brands including Disney, Marvel, Mattel and Nickelodeon in delivering high quality finished art for print within brand guidelines and company processes.
Reporting to the Design Manager, you will support the design team in preparing finished art files in key product categories include Kids Dining, Lunch & Hydration products along with Cosmetics, Ceramics and Home. An eye for detail along with strong knowledge of finished art is integral to be successful in this role. We are looking for someone that is highly motivated, willing to learn and happy working in a busy, fast paced office environment. While the role is primarily for a finished artist, there are opportunities to expand your skills into design when the team has overflow.
To be successful in the role you will possess:
* A strong knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
* You're a team player but you can also work autonomously.
* Knowledge of final art processes and print pre-press.
* An impeccable eye for detail.
* 3-4 years experience in a similar role is favourable.
* The ability to work within licensor guidelines and brand requirements.
* A great work ethic and a can-do attitude.
* Design skills are a bonus.
