The Role
As a Project Engineer, you will work on a large infrastructure project in remote WA, responsible for the construction of complex concrete structures and associated civil works on a 2/1 FIFO roster from Perth, WA.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Interpret specifications, draft and maintain drawings and plans, construction methods and procedures
* Ensure comprehensive understanding of the scope of work, specifications, work plans and drawings, and advise on best engineering solutions to meet project needs
* Create work programs for allocated work packages and manage in conjunction with the wider team, the scope of work, equipment and materials, and ensure compliance
* Identify variations in work packages and submit lists for review
* Ensure effective implementation of the quality management plan to meet project requirements
* Familiarize team members with the quality assurance manual, procedures, ITPs, test methods & reporting requirements
* Prepare and review internal ITPs, forms & checklists for approval by Client
About You
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering - Essential
* At least 5 years post-graduate experience working in a FIFO capacity as a Project Engineer with a contractor - Essential
* Large FRP Infrastructure experience with concrete structures - Desirable
* Experience with P6 Planning/Scheduling tools - Essential
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills - Essential
