About the Role
This is a commercial, experience-led role focused on doing excellent work for clients — not chasing titles, billable targets, or internal politics.
Depending on your experience, you will:
* Work on business and share sale transactions for SME clients
* Provide calm, practical, commercially grounded advice in plain English
* Build trusted relationships with clients and referrers (primarily brokers and accountants)
* Work within a highly systemised, supportive, and remote team that values judgment, professionalism, and client outcomes
For more senior lawyers, there is no expectation to pursue partnership, manage large teams, or operate in a high-stress, high-volume environment.
For mid-level lawyers, this role offers the opportunity to deepen your M&A expertise in a firm that specialises in this work and supports genuine development.
Who This Role Is For
This role may suit you if:
1. You have 5+ years' experience in commercial law, including business and/or share sales (we're open to significantly more experience)
2. You enjoy transaction work and client relationships
You value clarity, quality, and professionalism over long hours and firm politics
3. You're comfortable working 100% remotely
