Job Description
Aurora Dairies are currently seeking a Senior Farm Hand (or Farm Hand) for a dairy farm located at Bushy Park on the edge of the Styx River in Southern Tasmania, located 50 minutes from Hobart and 20 minutes from New Norfolk in the Derwent Valley.
The farm is approximately 542ha effective area, with 390ha under pivot irrigation and 47ha under hard hose irrigation. This farm is currently milking 1,000 cows, through a 50 bail rotaryshed with ACR's, auto teat spray and auto draft via DeLaval herd management system. This farm is 100% Spring calving beginning in mid-August.

This role will include tasks the areas of :
* Driving and upholding Animal Health and Safe Operating Procedures.
* All aspects of milking.
* Animal husbandry.
* Pasture management.
* Machinery operation.
* Repairs and maintenance.
