About the Position
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced healthcare professional with expertise in PACU / Recovery to join our clinical team on a part-time basis. Monday to Friday flexible roster occasional Saturdays.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the nursing team to deliver high-quality patient care and ensure a safe environment
* Maintain theatre equipment and facilities, ensuring they are ready for surgery at all times
* Prioritize patient safety and communication with the surgical team is essential
* Monitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complications or concerns
* Provide education and support to patients to facilitate their recovery journey
* Supervise and guide Enrolled Nurses during shifts
About You
* Proven experience in PACU/Recovery nursing within a hospital setting
* Tertiary qualifications in Nursing or a related field
* Ongoing AHPRA registration
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
