Due to current strong growth in functions, the Fresh team in Brisbane has immediate vacancies for experienced Function Supervisor to join their Service brigade. Work across a wide variety of functions and events at Waters Edge at Portside and Queensland Museum – no two days are ever the same. The Role Run events across multiple spaces Receive briefings from the Venue and Event Managers prior to the event Deliver exceptional client experiences across a range of functions and events including cocktail parties, conferences, and sit-down dinners Oversee all service related aspects of the function from set up, through service, and pack down Supervise a team of experienced function waiters and bartenders Be the client liaison throughout the event Work closely with the culinary team, keeping clear communication lines at all times Very strong interpersonal skills Prior experience as a Head Waiter or Function Supervisor Ideally coming from a 5-star background Excellent attention to detail A passion for executing amazing events.
