Job Title: Food Preparation and Service Assistant
This is an entry-level role that involves assisting in the preparation and service of food to our residents. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning kitchen and dining room areas, washing up, loading and unloading dishwasher, and ensuring excellent safety awareness.
About You:
You will need to have 6 months of kitchen experience, preferably in the aged care sector. Strong workplace safety skills, ability to follow set procedures, and good communication skills are essential. You will also need to be able to problem solve, work with limited supervision, and think on your feet.
The Role:
This role is a physical one, requiring you to do a lot of bending, squatting, lifting, and pushing items to carry out your daily tasks safely. It is essential that you can perform these tasks without risk of injury to yourself, your colleagues, and our residents.
