As an Expert Structural Engineer, you will play a vital role in the development and delivery of structural engineering designs for HV substations and renewable projects.
This key position involves leading the structural engineering outcomes in conceptual design, detailed design, procurement, and construction, ensuring all work aligns with relevant standards, specifications, and guidelines for regulatory compliance.
* Provide expert knowledge and technical authority in structural engineering design to ensure high-quality outcomes.
* Develop and implement sound engineering principles to ensure all footing and structural designs comply with relevant standards.
* Lead the mentoring and professional development of other structural engineers and graduates within the design and engineering team.
Requirements and Skills:
* Advanced skills and experience with structural design software's to carry out structural steelwork and foundation design, including substation gantry structure and foundation design.
* Strong background in structural engineering design with working knowledge of construction and maintenance practices.
* Continuous learning and development, as well as genuine passion for developing structural engineering design.
