The Opportunity
At McLean Care, our residents are at the heart of everything we do — and nothing brings us more joy than seeing them smile. We’re seeking a passionate, proactive Leisure & Lifestyle Worker to join our team in Gunnedah, NSW and help create meaningful, engaging experiences that brighten each resident’s day.
This role plays an integral part in supporting our residents' wellbeing through planned activities, social engagement, and creative programs that promote a happy, healthy lifestyle.
About You
You're someone who finds joy in bringing joy to others. You have experience working in aged care or a similar setting, and you understand how to tailor activities to meet a wide range of physical, emotional, and cognitive needs — including residents living with dementia or complex behaviours.
You’ll also bring:
- Certificate III in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle
- Ability to adapt communication and activities to individual needs
- Strong understanding of WHS principles and resident safety
- Sound computer literacy
- Unrestricted Driver Licence (Bus Licence or willingness to obtain highly regarded)
- Creativity and a love for arts, crafts, and fun
- Most importantly: a genuine passion for making a positive impact
