Senior Water Technology Leader
We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our water treatment projects, working at the forefront of sustainable technology. This senior technical leadership role will be based in Melbourne or Bendigo, collaborating with diverse stakeholders to deliver safe, compliant, and innovative solutions.
Your Responsibilities
* Develop and implement masterplanning strategies, ensuring compliance throughout the project delivery lifecycle.
* Manage and mentor a team of technical professionals while coordinating additional resources to ensure high-quality deliverables.
* Navigate external regulatory processes, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and industry standards.
* Oversee investment committee input, quality control, and technical governance throughout the project lifecycle.
* Provide commercial support, including financial model input, contractor management, and budget forecasting for technical work.
Your Requirements
* Degree in Engineering, preferably Process, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
* 10+ years demonstrated experience in technical engineering and management of water treatment processes.
* Demonstrated experience leading significant business cases.
* Experience managing internal and external stakeholders within the Victorian water industry.
* 5+ years experience working in capital works project portfolio teams.
* Knowledge and understanding of WHS and environmental legislation specific to water treatment processes.
