Housekeeping Supervisor Role
This role is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness, organization, and guest satisfaction are maintained at a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise Housekeeping Staff: Scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in all areas.
* Inspect Guest Rooms and Areas: Ensuring cleanliness and quality standards are met in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
* Train and Mentor Staff: Providing training and guidance on proper cleaning techniques and hotel policies to ensure consistency and excellence.
* Manage Inventory: Overseeing the management of housekeeping inventory, including linens, cleaning supplies, and equipment.
* Address Guest Complaints: Resolving housekeeping-related issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
* Compliance and Safety: Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling of chemicals.
* Collaboration with Other Departments: Working closely with other departments to support overall hotel operations and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications:
* English Proficiency: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
* Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
* Experience: Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in a hotel housekeeping environment.
* Leadership Skills: Proven ability to develop and motivate team members.
* Technical Skills: Experience with Hotel Property Management Systems, specifically Oracle, and familiarity with Amadeus (HotSOS) Housekeeping Software.
* Soft Skills: Proactive, detail-oriented, and organized with strong leadership and communication skills.
