Senior Human Resources Consultant
This 6-month contract presents a fantastic opportunity to contribute to high-impact internal HR initiatives as a Senior Human Resources Consultant.
The Opportunity
You will support a variety of internal HR projects and documentation initiatives while also assisting in the management of complex employee relations issues.
Key Areas of Focus
* Create, review, and enhance internal HR documents including policies, procedures, templates, and factsheets
* Develop supporting materials aligned with the enterprise agreement (e.g. factsheets, FAQs, internal guides)
* Contribute to HR projects across compliance, culture, performance, and engagement
* Ensure documentation accuracy and alignment with employment legislation, IR frameworks, and internal governance
* Step into a business partnering capacity as needed, providing support during team absences or peak periods
* Deliver high-quality background support to the broader People & Culture team as required
Your Profile
To succeed in this role, you will bring a senior-level HR skillset, strong problem-solving capability, and a passion for project-based work.
* Demonstrated experience in HR with a focus on policy development, compliance, and managing employee relations cases
* Strong understanding of employment legislation and enterprise agreements
* Proven ability to work flexibly and adapt to shifting priorities, supporting a wide range of HR tasks across the team
* Previous experience in professional services or highly regulated environments
* Advanced written communication skills, with the ability to simplify and clearly present complex information
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities with a high level of accuracy
* Collaborative and solutions-focused, with the ability to take direction and confidently support a broad range of projects across the HR function
