Based in Moruya, this permanent full-time role involves managing the Water and Sewerage Operations team, ensuring the reliable supply of safe drinking water and the compliant treatment and disposal of wastewater for the community.

Responsibilities 
- Manage the Water and Sewerage Operations team to deliver safe drinking water and compliant wastewater treatment and disposal for the community. 
- Lead staff in alignment with Council values, Code of Conduct, and workplace health and safety obligations. 
- Ensure safe, efficient and sustainable delivery of essential water and wastewater services with a strong focus on customer service. 
Qualifications 
- Minimum ten years in water utility operations and at least five years in a leadership capacity. 
- Comprehensive technical expertise in water and wastewater treatment processes and distribution systems. 
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.

- Salary up to $143,360.41 per annum inclusive of superannuation and industry allowance, with access to a leaseback vehicle and additional benefits. 
- 35 hours per week for administrative staff and 38 hours per week for operational staff.
