About the role
The Project Manager will ensure capability and support the Director to build a sustainable and consistent function. They will manage security infrastructure projects and provide advisory services to ensure compliance. Responsibilities include contract administration, building regulation compliance, fee negotiation, budget management, governance reporting, and overseeing projects locally and remotely. They will ensure delivery remains on time and on budget while maintaining design integrity and full compliance with security measures.
Duties
* Liaise with stakeholders, suppliers, consultants, and contractors to achieve project objectives and maintain engagement.
* Manage project scope, risks, variations, and change control across all project phases.
* Oversee project design, documentation, administration systems, and record management processes.
* Prepare and update key documentation including risk, communications, cost estimates, budgets, and contingency plans.
* Ensure quality standards, compliance, schedules, and governance reporting are met, with regular progress updates.
* Coordinate project delivery, handover, completion activities, and capture lessons learned for continuous improvement.
Skills & experience
* Previous experience in security infrastructure projects (desirable)
* Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, and communication skills
* Skilled engagement with diverse stakeholders and negotiation of priorities.
* Proactive monitoring of cost, time, quality, and resource performance.
Due to the nature of this role, it is only open to Australian Citizens who currently hold a Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance
