Ready to take on a Electrical Reliability Engineer role supporting critical assets, defect elimination and continuous improvement? We’re supporting a major mining project and are looking for an experienced Electrical Reliability Engineer to join on an initial 6 month contract, working FIFO to site in South Australia. This is a hands-on opportunity where you’ll work closely with maintenance, electrical engineering and operations teams to improve reliability, support defect elimination and help drive strong asset performance across site. The Role Support electrical reliability engineering activities across a major mine site Work directly with physical assets in a site-based environment Conduct RCM/FMEA, criticality analysis and root cause analysis Support defect elimination and continuous improvement initiatives Use SAP to support maintenance and reliability activities Work closely with maintenance, engineering and operations teams Identify asset risks, issues and opportunities for improvement Support a strong safety culture and speak up when something is not right Work FIFO to site on a 5:2/4:3 roster About You Experience as a Electrical Reliability Engineer Previous experience working on site or directly with physical assets Strong understanding of RCM/FMEA, criticality analysis, RCA and defect elimination SAP experience highly regarded Electrical background preferred Mining, resources, heavy industry, utilities or asset-intensive experience highly regarded Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Collaborative, adaptable and safety-focused approach Comfortable working FIFO in a site-based environment Contract: Initial 6-month contract Roster: 5:2/4:3 roster currently discussed Hours: Approx. 10 hours per day FIFO: Ideally Adelaide-based to access client charter flights Site Costs: Travel, accommodation and food-related costs covered If you’re looking for a FIFO Reliability Engineer role where you can work closely with site teams and contribute to real reliability improvement across a major mining environment, this could be the opportunity for you.
