Busy Bees at Tamworth is a purpose-built, welcoming early learning centre with 102 licensed places, located in the growing community of Tamworth, NSW. We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Chef who is passionate about preparing nutritious meals for children and supporting a collaborative team environment.

About the Role
In this role, you will:
* Prepare and cook nutritious, age-appropriate meals that meet dietary, cultural, and allergy requirements
* Plan weekly menus in line with Busy Bees nutrition guidelines
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene at all times
* Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and compliant with regulatory standards
* Monitor inventory levels and place food orders
* Build warm, positive relationships with children, families, and educators
* Bring efficiency, creativity, and professionalism to the kitchen
* Demonstrate clear experience working in a childcare environment
What You'll Need
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Certificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
* Valid NSW Working with Children Check (Employee)
* Food Safety / Food Handling certification
* Strong understanding of nutrition, allergies, and menu planning
* Excellent time management, organisation, and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Australian working rights
