Leading Federal Government department is in need of a Senior Business Analyst to define the materials, processes and IT changes needed as a result to amendments to legislation in 2025.
In this role you will:
* Contribute to the planning and delivery of accurate, comprehensive, timely and value-add business analysis, organizational change and research products to support the project.
* Develop and conduct analysis activities in a timely manner, while managing competing priorities.
* Lead or assist in the development of high-quality presentations.
* Assist in developing and managing key internal and external relationships, to identify opportunities, achieve outcomes and facilitate cooperation.
* Develop and maintain a backlog of business requirements.
* Document business requirements clearly in the form of high-level detailed requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
* Support developers and testers
* Develop UAT test plans and scripts, conduct testing, and support business users during UAT.
You will bring to the role:
• Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency using tools such as Azure DevOps.
• A detail-oriented approach to all tasks with an ability to collate a range of information and present in a logical manner.
• High-quality document preparation skills, including development and review of executive briefing documents, project artefacts, plans, reports and others.
While it will be great if you have
• Experience working in major programs with legislated timelines.
• Understanding of public sector ICT accountability and assurance frameworks.
• Familiarity with security and operational readiness requirements in government environments.
