Seeking experienced Senior Storage Engineers (EL1 equivalent) to support a large, complex ICT environment within a high‐performing infrastructure operations team.
About the role
You'll deploy, configure, manage and tune enterprise storage systems across physical and virtual environments. The role includes SAN switch configuration, documentation development, mentoring junior staff and contributing to the future direction of storage and data platforms.
Key Duties
* Deploy, configure and optimise enterprise storage systems
* Manage and maintain SAN switches
* Troubleshoot storage performance and reliability issues
* Produce clear design, build and operational documentation
* Support future storage platform direction and emerging tech adoption
* Mentor junior team members and share technical knowledge
What you'll bring
* Strong experience with enterprise storage platforms (HPE 3PAR/Primera/Alletra, NetApp E Series, Dell Data Domain, Brocade Fabric, SANnav, Scality Artesca)
* Ability to produce high quality design, build and operational documentation
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Experience with Veeam Backup & Replication
