LAB ASSISTANT- BIOACTIVE
RESPONSIBILITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY
Conduct quality assurance inspection and testing of the bioactive raw materials and finished products.
Evaluate new and alternative raw materials according to Company systems.
Carry out analysis on samples as required.
Ensure that the Company products are well-presented before dispatch.
Evaluate aged and non-conforming stock and recommend required action.
Prepare customer requested documentation to accompany deliveries.
Undertake projects to investigate quality practices, procedures, and problems as required.
Carry out calibration of lab equipment, as per procedures.
Preparing, processing, monitoring, documenting and evaluating complex experiments as required in an agreed timeframe.
Maintaining accurate records of experiments and analyses.
High level of written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to deliver tasks on time and with a high degree of accuracy.
Demonstrated effective problem solving and scientific data interpretation abilities.
A team player with a strong willingness to contribute, complete tasks and meet deadlines.
Other tasks as required.
Maintain positive liaison with technical, quality, production and sales teams.
Be agile, willing to learn, take challenges, proactive and self motivated
Fast paced environment
Bachelor or Masters in Food Tech preferred - Food Science
Knowledge and or experience in the food industry
Australian working rights or permancy
