An exciting opportunity for a Finance Officer to work in a 12-week assignment within the Public Sector.
**Your new company**
We have partnered with a government department client to assist in their search for a Finance Officer to assist with accounts payable and reconciling tasks. The role is based South of the River, requires you to work full-time hours, on an initial temporary basis of 12 weeks. Ideally you will be available to start immediately.
**Your new role**
As a Finance Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Raising purchase orders, cash advance requests and acquittals, staff reimbursements and credit card expense reports
- Follow up on outstanding purchase orders
- Reconcile purchase order balances
- Forward documents to stakeholders as necessary
- Liaise with stakeholders regarding credit card expense reports
- Resolve finance queries and investigations
**What you'll need to succeed**
Experience as a Finance officer is essential, as is:
- Experience in accounts payable
- Demonstrate knowledge on how to use workday software
- Have good organisation and have the ability to prioritise relevant tasks
